It is a painful reality that in our society, there are hearts that refuse to accept their own blood. A young orphan girl living in Nigehbaan Sweet Home is facing this bitter truth today. All the other girls, who go to their homes every month, happily left for their families today. But S remained behind alone.

It has been three months now. Neither her mother has come to take her, nor any relative, nor anyone she can call her own someone who could take her home even for two days. She is silent. Yet her silence is filled with countless unspoken questions. Her eyes stay fixed on the door as if searching for someone, but with each passing day her hope and sadness both grow deeper.

This sight has become a burden on all our hearts. A daughter who longs for love, attention, and support is carrying the weight of rejection and society’s coldness. The pain of being an orphan is already immense, but the denial from one’s own multiplies that pain many times over.

We pray that Allah Almighty creates ease for S, heals the wounds of her heart, and sends into her life people who will accept her, love her, and become her support. May her loneliness turn into love, mercy, and light.

Being an orphan is not a crime. The real crime is the insensitivity that exists in our society. We must stand with such children with greater love, empathy, and responsibility.

Insha’Allah.
